Esperanza Photos ~ Work Day 3 (Wednesday)

On work day 3 we began to prepare the roof for the giant cement pour.  The roof 'form' is made up of plywood, 2x4s, a ton of rebar and a lot of wires to hold it all together.
We cut and bent a lot of rebar and made a grid across the entire roof that would eventually hold the cement in place.

Cutting a lot of wire to tie all the rebar together.

Pat making squares for the ceiling beams.

Josh making more squares.

Putting the ceiling form together.

Making the beams that will make the edges of the roof.

Dolores walking out of the door of her new house.

Looking from the bathroom into the house with the beginnings of the roof form.

Standing in the new bathroom.

Making the beams.
